DAY BY DAY

Our weekend.

From booking / family planSuggested timing Suggested travel buffers are estimates; check traffic and flight status.

SATURDAY EVENING · NOVEMBER 7

A table for everyone.

Proposed · not reserved

Aim for 6:30 p.m., after the reception and family errands. Confirm who’s joining before booking for 8–12. Both options need a call if the group grows.

THE WATERFRONT ALTERNATIVE02

Parkers’ Lighthouse

Pacific seafood · Shoreline Village

Choose this for harbor views and a distinctly coastal evening. Seafood is the focus, and the setting feels more like a special outing. Best if everyone is happy with the extra drive and a seafood-led menu.

REMEMBERING UNCLE JOHN

A resourceful mind.
A generous presence.

John’s ingenuity showed up everywhere: in the things he built, the problems he solved, and the care he gave his church. His love of pipe organs stayed with him throughout his life.

Born in Grand Forks, North Dakota, John served in the U.S. Army and earned his architecture degree at the University of Colorado Boulder. He spent 47 years with the same family of companies and was a devoted member of St. Thomas of Canterbury, serving as a choir member, bookkeeper and usher, and helping reconstruct the church’s pipe organ.

We gather to remember his consistency, his inventiveness and the place he holds in our family.

The family’s obituary suggests donations to St. Thomas of Canterbury or a veterans’ support organization of your choice.

Plan notes & sources

Prepared November 4, 2026 from the supplied United, Hilton and Avis confirmations, Andrea’s Memorial Service document, and the family obituary.

The family document gives November 7 but no service start time. The published memorial event listing shows 2 p.m.; please reconfirm with Andrea. Reception timing and end time are not specified. The family document calls the gathering a light lunch and also refers to slides during dinner; the guide leaves its exact sequence flexible.
